Sorrel is an old time Jamaican favourite that is usually consumed during the Festive Season/ Christmas time or as some Jamaicans call it 'Crismus' time. The drink is refreshing and soothing and is mostly served with good old Jamaican Fruit Cake. Some allude that the name was derived from the phrase 'so real.'

Recent research has proved that this potent, refreshing drink possess powerful antioxidants that fight against malignant cancer cells.
