How to Make Longer Lasting Aloe Vera Oil

Aloe Vera, or Single Bible as it is called in Jamaica, has been touted for its medicinal properties. The Aloe Vera Plant is used in Jamaica both internally and externally, and every now and then, persons use the yellow, bitter sap from the plant as a laxative to encourage a cleanse.

The Aloe Vera plant is rich in vitamins and minerals, that not only makes it useful for its medicinal use, but also in skin and hair care. The compounds present in the plant are credited for its powerful healing properties.

Aloe Vera can be used in several ways to enhance skin and hair health. The gel can be extracted and applied directly to the skin, however, some persons may have adverse reaction to the gel which could include itching. Using the Aloe Vera plant to make oil, is therefore a great alternative for persons who may experience adverse reactions.

The video above demonstrates how you can easily make your own Aloe Vera oil at home. The method used will enable your oil to have a longer shelf life. The oil can be used in body butters, hair and skin oils.
