Marijuana: Ganja - Hair Loss
In April 2015, the Government of Jamaica moved to decriminalise the use of marijuana, which will be referred to as ganja for the purpose of this post. This made it permissible for Rastafarians, a group that for many years have been martyrs for this herb, to use the plant for ceremonial rites. Householders were also given the right to have five plants of this potent herb per household. Since the decriminalisation, there has been experimental uses of the plant to substantiate claims of its healing properties. The remedy below is a hair rinse/scalp tonic that is being tested for its efficacy in boosting hair growth and restoring thickness:
Ingredients
1 Tablespoon of Ganja (Marijuana)
Ginger
1 sprig of Rosemary
2 cups of water
Method
Wash all the plant material thoroughly.
Add the plant material to water in a stainless steel pot.
Apply flame and allow the contents to come to a rapid boil.
Reduce flame and allow to simmer for five (5) Minutes.
Turn off flame. Allow formula to cool.
Pour into CLEAN spray bottle.
Spray onto scalp twice per day.
This remedy does not promise hair growth but it makes a great scalp tonic.
