The Ganja plant, which remains an illegal substance in Jamaica, has its place in the history of Jamaican home remedies. The plant which grows in moderately tropical conditions is used by Rastafarian for ceremonial purposes, however, our fore parents used the herb to cure or treat the common cold.
Remedy:
A relatively small piece of the plant is soaked into approximately one ounce of white rum. This would be inhaled by the patient for three days. It is said that this relieves nasal congestion.
The ganja plant was also soaked in water and used to wash the eyes to treat cataract.
Disclaimer: This remedy was passed on through folklore. Its efficacy has never been proven therefore it is not intended to treat any medical conditions so remember to always consult your doctor.
This was pretty much good topic to be posted. These days somebody still using for K2 spice incense because they think it was good for them to energize their body and adding additional strength.
