How to Get Rid of Rats Naturally

Rodents can pose great harm to human health. Their droppings, and other secretions such as saliva and urine, contain substances that can cause Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS) in humans and some pets if they become exposed. The exposure may result in a fatal disease known as leptospirosis.

There a many commercial solutions to contain rodent population; however, one specie of the Dieffenbachia plant contains a substance known as calcium oxalate which forms of raphides that can act as natural poison that can help to curtail the overgrowth of rodent population in gardens and around the home.

The video below, provides a demonstration of how the dieffenbachia plant can be used as a simple solution for rodents.
