Inflammation Weed (Dog Blood)

Inflammation Weed or Dog Blood grows wildly in Jamaica; it thrives mainly during the summer months and requires no specific care. The Weed is popular for its use  as a fertility treatment in Jamaica. Many women who suffer from fertility issues in Jamaica have claimed that after using the plant they were able to conceive.

In Jamaica, Inflammation Weed is used for issues associated with the womb ranging from menstrual issues to fertility or blockage of the tubes. The Weed is used as a tea or a vaginal steam. It is usually combined with guinea hen weed and blue vervain. In addition to being used to address fertility and menstrual issues, Inflammation Weed is used to treat urinary tract infections and inflammation in the body, generally. It is also used as a cleanse by women after giving birth.

How Inflammation Weed is Used
The entire plant including leaves, roots, stems and berries are reaped and dried in shade or away from sunlight. In so doing, the properties are preserved.
