There is an old expression Jamaicans like to use "Tun u han mek fash'n." Our fore parents found many creative and industrious ways to cure ailments,among them is one old remedy used to cure bed sores. This too, had been passed on to me by word of mouth and its efficacy has not been medically or scientifically proven. It has evolved from generation to generation and is still being used today.
The Jamaican Remedy for Bedsores.
Gather a handful of the plant, Spanish Needle; rub the plant until it starts producing juice; at this stage add a few (3) drops of dettol to the juice and rub on the bed sores. This is thought to heal the affected area on the skin.
