Dandelion Plant

http://alternativemedicinebushdoctor.blogspot.com/

The Dandelion plant grows wildly in the tropics. It has several uses but is known mainly for its cleansing properties.

It is believed that when the seeds of the plant are parched or roasted and eaten, they cleanse the liver and kidneys. The leaves , roots and stem of the plant may also be dried and boiled for the same use.

The Dandelion is also used in the production of roots wines.

  1. Hello.
    Visiting from Bloggers.

This is not the first time I have heard about the cleansing properties of the dandelion plant. Being from the Islands myself, I've had a few old time tips and tricks passed down to me (smile). Back in the day, our ancestors didn't have money to visit doctors and pay for RX drugs. They knew the secrets of the land and the herbs & spices to use to make themselves better. You can't beat the old time methods & even today, some people still swear by them. Very informative blog you have here. Thanks for sharing. Hope you'll come by for some "love tonic" sometime soon! LOL
