Whooping Cough Remedy: Rat Soup

Whooping cough a disease common among young children can cause distressing cough that can make breathing very difficult. The disease is caused by an exposure to a bacterial infection. some of the symptoms are heavy coughing, shortness of breath, runny nose, Diarrhoea and vomiting. This disease may first appear as the common cold.

Remedies
Rat Soup (Jamaican Folklore - Disclaimer - try at your own risk, I've never tried it)
It is suggested to get a small mouse from the cane field, clean the mouse by removing all the internal organs. use the remains of the animal as the key ingredient to boil soup. You may add vegetables and season to taste. This should be fed to the patient and is thought to relieve them of the symptoms of whooping cough.
